The City of Arcadia Municipal Golf Course Staff welcomes you to our Pro Shop and Golf Course for the 2009-2010 Season. Memberships are effective November 1, 2009. We hope you enjoy your time with us. If we can assist you in any way, please ask. Please remember to check in before you play.
The Arcadia Municipal Golf Course abides by the rules of golf published by the USGA. League and Tournament play should be conducted in compliance with the USGA rules of play, including equipment compliance. Local rules are published on the score card. Please see Pro Shop for any clarifications.
A membership includes access to the USGA Handicap System and is available to non-members for a fee. Please ask for system assistance. All members will be issued a Photo ID card and a Member number to help the check in process. Please bear with us as we initiate our Point of Sale System.
Bag storage is available on a first come basis. No bags will be stored on the floor in the bag room as it hinders floor cleaning and waxing. Any bags stored without a current storage agreement on file will be confiscated. Please have your name on your bag to assist staff in insuring your bag is in the proper bag space. Please do not keep any food items in your bag. Bag access when the Pro shop is closed will be based on staff availability.
The Arcadia Municipal Golf Course is open 364 days a year (Closed Christmas Day) from sunrise to sunset.
Arcadia Municipal Golf Course has had a proper golf attire policy for several years. The pro shop staff asks for your assistance in complying with the golf attire policy. Golf shoes with soft-spikes are the preferred foot wear, metal golf spikes are not permitted, however golf sandes, sneakers or rubber-soled shoes and any other footwear that will not damage the greens are permitted.
Proper golf attire for women includes golf shorts no shorter than mid-thigh, skirts or slacks with T-shirts, blouses or sweaters. Athletic shorts, cutoffs, midriff exposing tops, tube tops, swimwear and tennis attire are not considered to be proper golf attire. Denim pants, denim shorts, denim shirts (regardless of color) that are uniform in color, do not have holes or tears, and are not frayed or raveled are permissible.
Proper golf attire for gentlemen includes pants or golf shorts no shorter than mid-thigh, collared shirts with sleeves (shirts/T-shirts with mock turtlenecks are permitted golf attire). Tank tops, athletic shorts,sweatpants, sleeveless shirts, T-shirts with offensive language or V-neck, muscle shirts (regardless of color), swimwear and tennis attire are not considered to be proper golf attire. Denim pants, denim shorts or denim shirts (regardless or color) that are uniform in color, do not have holes or tears, and are not frayed or raveled are permissible.
Cart rental is to licensed drivers only. Please, only one single rider permitted per group. Rangers will be checking for unarthorized use and may suspend cart rental privileges of violators. Handicap carts and rules regarding their use are available to individuals providing proof of eligibility.
Cart rental fees, and membreships are for half (1/2) a cart only.
When teeing off, the person with handicap privileges will be on the side closest to the the hitting area. DO NOT DRIVE ON THE TEES OR GREENS.
When approaching the green for putting, please use either side next to the green or park at the rear of the green, on the collar. Please do not park in front of the green, as this causes excessive wear i n that area.
